Qualifying life changing events may include:
- Birth of a Child
- Losing other health coverage
- Adopting a child or placing a child for adoption
- Moving outside your insurer’s coverage area
- Gaining citizenship
- Leaving incarceration
- A change in income or household status that affects eligibility for premium tax credits or cost sharing reductions
- Applied during open enrollment, but were found ineligible for Medicaid.
